Q: What Social Groups are currently available to join in Springbrook?
See full list on the Social Groups Page. The social groups are coordinated via Facebook group pages. These pages are NOT monitored by the HOA Board.
Q: Why aren't there more social groups and activities to join in Springbrook?
The short answer is, not many people have been willing to set them up in the past. The HOA Board are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We need YOUR help to increase the level of participation in the community and set up the groups.
Beginning in late 2012, there has been a surge in homeowner interest about committees and social groups. The first step is to notify the HOA Board that you are interested in forming or joining a social group. We will create a facebook group page (and make you the admin). We can also list your group (and contact info if you allow it) on this website. The rest is up to you. You can schedule meetings for your group to coincide with HOA Board meetings if there are ideas or issues you'd like to make us aware of, or you can host the meetings in your home, at the park, at Applebees, etc. It's YOUR social group, so YOU make the rules.
Q: What types of Social Groups are available to join or form?
Some ideas for possible social groups include Crafting, Games (Poker, Bunko, Dominos, Bridge, etc), Yoga, Bootcamp, Gardening, Computer Skills, Survivalism/Prepping, Woodworking, Motorcycle, Corvette, Religious Studies, Bowling, Wine Tasting, Toastmasters, Toddlers, Mommies, Couponing, etc. Really anything you can think of can become a Social Group. It's your community, and it's up to you to decide how to get involved and to what extent.
Q: Is Springbrook HOA responsible for the content posted in the Facebook Social Groups?
These group pages are administered by the Springbrook HOA Board Members. Abusive behavior (in the form of personal attacks, threats, spamming, etc.) will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to delete posts and remove users who violate these terms. Users who are found to not be Springbrook homeowners will also be removed from this group. These are community pages designed to help facilitate communication between homeowners, not a platform for "trolling". If you have questions or concerns, please contact the HOA Board and/or the Property Management Company directly. We do not reply to comments on these group pages.. For your protection, please do not post sensitive information (like your address) on Facebook. If you must swap that information, do it via phone or private message.
