NATIONAL NIGHT OUT (NNO)

NNO is a community and police awareness-raising event in the US. It involves citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 15,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide. In all, over 37 million people participate in National Night Out each year.

NNO is designed to:

• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
• Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs.
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
• Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

It's also a perfect time to come on out and get to know your neighbors!

The next National Night Out will occur on on the first Tuesday of October each year in the Springbrook HOA Park.
We will have live music, food and neighborhood information!
